Lot No. 530 A RARE 6.5mm Duke of Aostas bolt action carbine model 1891 T.S. ( Triple special ). Blued barrel with correct sights and under bayonet. The breech Serial No 8058 and - beretta gardone. 1939 XVII - ( date of manufacture and the 17th year of mussolinis fascist era ). The action beautifully inlaid with gold and chiselled with flowers and vines. Walnut half stock the butt inlet with the Dukes letter - A - and laurel leaves surrounded with a coronet. The charcoal blued barrel with brass fore sight and engraved -Address Col. Saml. Colt New York U.S. America - within finials, London proofs forward of the wedge. Blued re-bated six shot cylinder with naval battle scene and London proofs. All pins intact. The frame marked -Colts Patent-. Charcoal blued triggerguard marked -44 Cal.-. Charcoal blued backstrap and walnut grip. Colour hardened creeping lever rammer. The walnut canteen stock stamped 14 over 31 and with brass silver plated furniture, charcoal blued hook and thumb screw. The canteen stopper top with brass chain. The barrel with 50% blue. The cylinder 70%, triggerguard backstrap 90% and the stock furniture with 25% silver plate. Grade 2. Brl.8 ins.

The lock with crowned -G.R.- cypher and Tower, throat hole cock, walnut half stock with saddle bar and ring. The brass triggerguard engraved -W.Y.S- (West Yorks Hussars)?. Forend shortened and repaired. Grade 3. Brl.20.25 ins.

Lot No. 898 A 12 bore Russian Infantry Musket converted to percussion. Round barrel with three brass bands. The breech with nipple bolster, plugged vent and cut-off brass pan. Converted lock with cranked hammer. Walnut fullstock. Brass furniture all marked -216- and dated -1841- and with inspectors mark. The butt plate tang having Russian double headed eagle motif. The fine wire twist and rose twist octagonal barrel with brass dovetailed foresight and cut with micro groove rifling. The top flat inlaid in gold - Klawitter in Herzberg-. The breech with three gold lines and makers gold poincon. Foliage engraved tang with "V" notched screw elevated rearsight. Foliage engraved lock having gold poincon and fire blued "hold off" safety. Engraved dolphin hammer. Charcoal blued spur triggerguard engraved with foliage and terminating in a pineapple finial. Adjustable set trigger. Figured walnut halfstock with chequered grip, engraved colour case hardened butt and forend cap. Minor patch of bruising to grip. Grade 2 plus with most original finish. Brl.9.75 ins.

Lot No. 902 A FINE QUALITY 30 bore Percussion Travelling Pistol Circa 1840 by W & J Rigby of Dublin. The acid etched curly twist barrel with concave sighting flat engraved - Dublin -. Case hardened breech having two platinum lines and vented platinum plug. Signed back action lock engraved together with the Dolphin hammer and tang with best foliage. Engraved charcoal blued triggerguard with pineapple finial. Figured walnut fullstock with chequered "Fish Tail" grip, two oval silver escutcheons and stirrup ram rod. Some minor stock bruising, otherwise Very Crisp. Grade 2 plus retaining all original charcoal blue finish. Brl 4.5".

Lot No. 903 A SCARCE 24 bore Percussion Duelling Pistol Circa 1970. By Robert Wogdon of London. Ovate barrel with nicely swamp at the muzzle. The top flat engraved -Wogdon London-. The breech converted from flintlock. Foliage engraved tang with "v" notched rearsight. Signed lock with stepped tail and safety bolt. Figured walnut halfstock with slab sided grip and horn forend cap. Set trigger. Engraved iron triggerguard with acorn finial. Engraved iron butt cap. Later ram rod. Grade 3 plus with some staining. Lot No. 911 A FINE QUALITY 52 bore Percussion target pistol. Circa 1860 by Gunther & Cie of Paris. Signed fluted charcoal blued octagonal barrel with dovetailed foresight and cut with six groove rifling. The breech numbered 2 matching the sighted tang and together with the lock spur triggerguard and butt cap chiselled in low relief with foliage and flowers on a stippled back ground. Walnut halfstock and fluted grip and carved together with the forend with foliage. Near Grade 1. Brl 10.5".

The German silver boxlock action engraved with foliage. The tang signed -Blanch-. Engraved dolphin side hammer, finely chequered walnut grip with engraved German silver cap having hinged trap cover. Lot No. 915 A FINE QUALITY 24 bore Queen Anne Flintlock Holster Pistol Circa 1770 by Henshaw, Strand, London. Turn-off barrel of typical cannon form. The breech signed -Henshaw- within a riband surrounded with foliage. The underside with London proofs and -Strand London-. Rounded swan neck cock. Mitre frizzen and forward facing spring. The sliding safety triggerguard engraved with a flowerhead. Figured walnut stock with shell carved apron around tang. Hallmarked silver furniture by Charles Freeth includes a Stand-of-Arms side plate, a lion on battlements butt cap and baroque thumb piece escutcheon. Stained. Grade 3 plus. Brl.7 ins.

Lot No. 916 A VERY RARE 100 bore Four Barrelled Flintlock Overcoat Pistol Circa 1790 by Dawes of London. Each round turn-off barrel numbered to the breech and internally notched for key. The boxlock action signed -Dawes London-. And engraved with banners . The left side with tap hook, the right with sliding pan cover. Throat hole cock with safety bolt locking the broad frizzen. Walnut slab sided grip. Some bruising to grip, otherwise Grade 3 plus. Brls. 2.75".

Lot No. 917 A FINE QUALITY 38 Bore flintlock pocket pistol, Circa 1785 by C.P. Blyth of London. Round turn-off barrel. Rounded bronze frame signed beneath the pan and engraved with foliage. Throat hole cock with safety locking the frizzen, raised pan, the frizzen spring with twin rollers. Concealed trigger. The walnut grip inlaid with silver vines and flower heads, engraved silver butt cap. Grade 3 plus. Brl.2.5 ins.

Lot No. 927 A richly decorated Spanish 14 bore double barrelled Flintlock Hunting carbine Circa 1800 with under spring bayonet. The two stage barrels with central moulded girdle. The breech section engraved with vines and with brass poincons. The concave rib marked - Avt Vinci Avtmori - miquelete locks with chiselled cocks. Walnut catalan stock carved with vines and silver wire inlay. The pierced brass furniture chiselled with vines and bunches of grapes.
