Raised, engine turned rib signed in full having flip-up rear sight and dolls head extension. The stylized boxlock, broad tang , fencers and push under lever chiselled in low relief with stag and doe within a foliage landscape. Sight button and select lever. Figured walnut stock with cheek piece. Chequered pistol grip and deeley forend. Some minor scratches. Grade 2 plus. Brl 27".

Large bow triggerguard with finial, butt plate tang and throat pipe also engraved with foliage. In its original brass bound mahogany case lined in green baize. The lid with circular brass escutcheon having the Crest of Baron Liegh (Stoneley Park Nr.Coventry). The inside lid with Purdeys 314 1/2 Oxford Street. Address.
