Figured walnut straight hand stock with chequered wrist and deeley forend. In its original leather covered oak case professionally relined in red baize. Lot No. 608 A RARE Flintlock Baker Musket of The Venerable East India Company. The browned round twist barrel having fore and rear sight and side bayonet bar. The rounded lock signed -E.Baker-. The tail engraved -4- over -V.E.I.C- Heart and Dated -1804-. Throat hole cock and tall frizzen. Walnut fullstock with brass regulation furniture. Two swivels and original iron ramrod. The butt plate tang marked -A6- (Company)? Complete with its original bayonet. The brass guard marked -95- over -A6-. The pommel with broad arrow and -B.O-. The back of the blade marked -Osborn (The Maker). Grade 3 plus. Brl.33". The standard barrel length for the rifle was 30" and the musket 33 as in this case. Lot No. 574 A VERY GOOD 20 bore left hand Wheelock pistol. The two stage barrel with swamp muzzle form. The barrel having two poincon and -P-. The lock with external wheel, spring loaded pan cover and dog. The pearwood full stock profusely inlaid with ivory hunting scenes, mythical monsters and flowers. Grade 2. Brl 13".

Lot No. 610 A 20 bore double barrelled Percussion Sporting Gun Circa 1850. By Crause of Herzberg. Brown twist barrels with wide concave rib. Engraved breech and tang, the bar-in-wood locks with gold poincons of -Crause Herzberg- and engraved together with hammer with foliage and serpents. Walnut halfstock with raised cheekpiece and chequered wrist. Horn scroll triggerguard and later wooden ramrod. Some stock scratches. Grade 3. Brl.30.25 ins.
