Lot No. 404 A RARE 6.5mm Italian Carcano Carbine, Serial No.C8009. Formerly issued to the personal bodyguard of The Duke of Auster when he was Governor of Ethiopia. The blued round tapered barrel having correct sights and grey parkerized pivoted bayonet. The breech part marked - BERETTA GARDONE - and dated - 1939 -. The gold washed action body profusely chiselled with mythical serpents and foliage. Grey parkerized bolt. The walnut half stock having inlaid 'A' surrounded by oak and olive leaves and surmounted by a ducal coronet. Blued broadly chequered magazine, gold washed trigger and forend cap. Lot No. 517 A VERY INTERESTING half scale 2.7mm (Kolibra) Artillery Luger self loading Pistol. Serial No.7841. Identical to the full size 9mm in every detail. Ramp rearsight. The chamber dated -1918-. The toggle with -DWM- motif. Chequered walnut grips. In its presentation mahogany case lined in purple velvet. Lot No. 523 A GOOD QUALITY German 8.15 x 46mm hammerless Boar Hunting Rifle. Serial No.J20. Blued octagonal barrel having two pivoted leaf rearsight. The engine turned top flat vacant panel. Colour case hardened boxlock action nicely engraved with boar and stag within a wooded landscape. Push down underlever, adjustable double set trigger. Burr walnut buttstock having cheekpiece, chequered grip and part forend. Slither of wood chipped from forend otherwise Grade 2 plus. Brl.27.5 ins.

Lot No. 524 A .32-40 Cal. Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle. Serial No.11426. (First year of manufacture). Blued octagonal barrel with correct sights. The top flat having New Haven address. Blued action, walnut butt stock with Crescent butt plate, walnut forend and full length tube magazine. Minor staining. Grade 2 plus with much original blue. Brl.26 ins.

Lot No. 530 A VERY RARE, probably unique 13mm/32 Bore Pneumatic shotgun, Serial No.1209. The alloy action marked - ARMI PNEUMATICHIE "SILE" BRESCIA BREVETTO MB.-. Blued pivoted round tapered barrel having fixed fore and rearsight. Walnut half stock with chequered straight hand wrist. To operate, the barrel is unlocked by a button on the side of the action and then turned through 90 degrees, the vertical movement compresses the air into the chamber, a swing-out plate under the butt plate allows the gun to remain stable whilst pumping. The barrel then loaded, i.e. wad, shot, wad and locked into it's original position. A thumb cocking button is depressed and the gun is ready for firing. Some minor stock scratches, otherwise Near Grade One. Brl.23".

Lot No. 572 A VERY RARE and ORIGINAL Henry Nock's Patent Screwless Lock Mechanism for a Military Musket Circa 1780. The plate engraved -H.Nock - and with recumbent crowned broad arrow. The pan having its original flash shield correctly marked with George III Crown over -G.R.- Some surface staining, Crisp. Grade 3 plus.

Lot No. 573 A Pre 1939 .36 Cal. Colt Model 1861 Navy Type Percussion Revolver. Serial No.14771. Rounded barrel with address. Six shot cylinder with Naval Engagement Scene, walnut grip. The rifling is not gain twist. Grade 3. Brl.7.5 ins.

Lot No. 575 A VERY GOOD 17mm Military Percussion Holster Pistol by Beuret Freres of Liege (Probably for the Swiss Army). Round barrel with octagonal breech, signed lock. Walnut halfstock with brass furniture and iron backstrap. All parts stamped Crown Over -B.F-. Un-Issued. Grade 1. Brl.8 ins.

Lot No. 576 A 18mm Prussian Percussion rifled pistol carbine Circa 1850. The tang with transverse safety bolt and pivoted two position rear sight. The long iron tang engraved -No 58- and slotted for a shoulder stock. Walnut fullstock having brass regulation furniture regimental markings. Grade 3 plus. Brl 11".

Lot No. 578 A Cased 54 Bore Beaumont Adams percussion revolver. Octagonal barrel having London Proofs and dovetailed foresight, the top strap engraved - ROBERT ADAMS, 76 KING WILLIAM STREET LONDON -. Five shot cylinder. The frame marked - ADAMS' PATENT NO.40295 -. Horizontal safety and thumb screw arbour pin latch. Chequered walnut grip and pivoted rammer. In it's original oak case lined in green baize, the inside lid with Robert Adams Patentee label. Accessories include a correct brass double cavity bullet mould with cutter, clearing rod, Hawksley oil bottle and a modern powder flask. One partition removed. The pistol retaining some original finish, some staining, Grade 2. Brl. 5.75"

Lot No. 579 A Cased 54 Bore Adams Patent Model 1851 self cocking percussion revolver. Octagonal barrel having dovetailed foresight and London Proofs. The top strap engraved - DEANE ADAMS & DEANE 30 KING WILLIAM ST.T. LONDON BRIDGE -. Five shot cylinder. The frame engraved - ADAMS'S PATENT NO.10045R -, and with foliage. Single spring hold-off safety and arbour pin latch. Chequered walnut grip. In it's original oak case lined in green baize, the inside lid having Deane, Adams and Deane trade label. Accessories include a bag shaped powder flask, a clearing rod, turnscrew and nipple key. The pistol with pepper pitting mainly to the right side, some traces of original blue. Grade 3 Plus. The frame engraved - PATENT NO.146 200 -. The hammer with fire blued hold-off safety. Chequered walnut grips. In an original mahogany case lined in blue baize, the inside lid with trade label of John Blanch. The pistol with some minor staining, otherwise Crisp, Grade 2 Plus. Brl.4".

Dolphin hammers with safety bolts. Concealed triggers, chequered walnut bag shaped grips each with German silver caps. Grade 3 plus. Brl.3 ins.

Browned wire twist barrels having broad concave ribs. The colour case hardened breeches each with gold line, Foliage engraving and platinum plugs. Signed back action colour case hardened locks engraved with foliage. Colour case hardened dolphin hammers and tangs similarly engraved. Walnut threequarter stocks having chequered bag shaped grips. Lot No. 583 A FINE QUALITY Pair of Bohemian 52 bore Percussion Target/Duelling Pistols by Johann Nowotny of Leitmeritz. Each brown twist octagonal barrel cut with multi groove rifling and having pronounced "Swamp" to the muzzle. Each top flat inlaid in gold -Nowotny- Each breech having "Flame Cut" engraving and one broad platinum and one narrow gold line. The Chamfered bolsters with vented platinum plugs. Each engraved tang having adjustable rearsight and numbered 1 and 2 in gold. Each lock signed -Nowotny-. The side plates -A Leitmeritz- and engraved with foliage and flames. Each dolphin hammer similarly engraved and retained with fire blued bun nuts. Burr walnut halfstocks having panel chequered grips and beautifully foliage releaf carved forend caps. Adjustable set triggers. The spur triggerguards engraved with trophies and flame and with pineapple finials. Engraved butt caps and cross-bolt escutcheons. The fine engraved wire/rose twist octagonal barrels cut with multi groove rifling. The vivid colour case hardened breeches and long sighted tangs engraved with foliage. The colour case hardened back action locks engraved with foliage and signed -Trouilleux- and -St.Etienne- respectively. Colour case hardened hammers, spur triggerguards, butt caps and forend caps engraved with foliage. Highly figured walnut halfstocks with petal carved caps. Original brass tipped ramrods. Lot No. 595 AN UNUSUAL 26 bore Flintlock Officers Pistol Circa 1800. The ovate twist barrel having slightly raised top flat engraved in script -Twigg London-. The muzzle with single gold line. The breech having two, platinum touch hole. The burnished lock having rain proof pan and engraved together with the cock and sighted tang with foliage. Walnut fullstock having chequered grip and spiral fluted pommel. Foliage engraved triggerguard and stirrup ramrod. The stock repaired above lock otherwise Grade 2. Brl.6.75 ins.

Lot No. 596 A Pair of 56 bore Flintlock Travelling Pistols by Parkes London Circa 1780. Round turn-off barrels of cannon form. The boxlock actions engraved with flowers and foliage and signed -Parkes London- within a riband. Throat hole cocks with sliding triggerguard safety. Walnut slab sided grips inlaid with silver wire. In a later mahogany case with brass and copper two way cylindrical powder flask. The pistols having lost some wire inlay. Grade 3. Brl.3.5 ins.

Lot No. 597 A VERY GOOD 60 Bore Flintlock double barrelled over and under tap action pistol, Circa 1790, by Ryan and Watson London. Brass turn-off barrels. The breeches numbered 21 and 22 respectively with the barrels, the underside having London Proofs and the Prince of Wales feathers between. The brass boxlock action engraved - RYAN & WATSON LONDON - surrounded by trophies. Throat hole cock with safety locking the frizzen. The pan with tap. Slab sided walnut grip. Near Grade 2. Brls.4".
