In it's original oak case lined in green baize, the inside lid with trade label of H. Dickinson London. Accessories include the six shot .442 Cal cylinder, Hawksley powder flask (spring broken), 54 Bore double cavity bullet mould, nipple key with cavity having two spare nipple and pricker, cap tins and oil bottle, etc. The pistol retaining about 40% original blue, some pepper pitting to mouth and strap. Single spring hold-off safety and arbour pin latch. Chequered walnut grip. In it's original oak case lined in green baize, the inside lid having Deane, Adams and Deane trade label. Accessories include a bag shaped powder flask, a clearing rod, turnscrew and nipple key. The pistol with pepper pitting mainly to the right side, some traces of original blue. Grade 3 Plus. Lot No. 683 A FINE CASED PAIR of 16 bore Officers Percussion Pistols Circa 1830 By Thomas North of Winton Winchester. Original brown ovate twist barrels having Birmingham proofs and engraved -Winton-. Each break-off with platinum line. The signed locks, dolphin hammers and tang nicely engraved with foliage and a "Dog-Tooth" border. Walnut fullstocks each with basket weave chequered and iron caps. Charcoal blued triggerguard each with foliage engraved bows and pineapple finials. Stirrup ramrods. In their original mahogany case lined in maroon velvet. Accessories include a Hawksley Patent three-way powder flask (Minor dents), ball mould, nipple key and clearing rod. The pistols with minor stock bruising otherwise Crisp. Lot No. 684 A RARE PAIR of 10 bore Irish Percussion Duelling Pistols converted from flintlock Circa 1795 by Obadiah Wisdon of Drogheda. The original brown massive octagonal wire twist barrels signed -Wisdon Drogheda-. Colour case hardened break-offs engraved with foliage. Each tang trophy and flash engraving. Signed locks nicely engraved with foliage and arrowhead border. Dolphin hammers (one replaced) figured walnut half stocks with chequered grips. Each having oval silver escutcheons engraved with entwined -W.M-. surmounted with a griffin. The spur triggerguards stylised pineapple finials and butt cap nicely engraved with trophies, flowers and foliage. Horn forend caps and ebony ram rods. In their original mahogany box lined in green baize. The oval brass lid with drop handle and engraved with the Coat of Arms matching the pistols and the powder flask. Accessories include, a Sykes Patent bag shaped powder flask with similar Coat of Arms, William Davis ball mould. The pistols with traces of original colour, one barrel having minor pepper pitting due to being separated from the case, consequently found and re-united years later by the vendor. Grade 3 Plus. Lot No. 685 A FINE PAIR of Percussion Officers Pistols with attachable shoulder stock Circa 1800. By Anton Baumann of Munich. Each charcoal blued octagonal barrel having slightly "Swamp" muzzle. Dovetailed foresight and cut with fourteen groove rifling. The top flats engraved -Anton Baumann- and -In Munchen- respectively. Colour case hardened break offs, tangs signed locks and hammers. Walnut fullstocks with charcoal blued furniture. The grips having double dovetails slots for shoulder stock. The blued covers engraved -CTE. St., Ferino-. Adjustable set triggers setting of full cock. In their original mahogany case lined in blue velvet. Accessories include: The attachable walnut shoulder stock. The cheek piece carved with foliage, three way powder flask (spring broken), bullet mould with automatic sprue cutter, turnscrew/nipple key and loading rods. Engraved grooved tang. Signed rounded lock, swan neck cock and frizzen (without bridle). Walnut fullstock with carved apron and teardrops. Brass furniture, the bitt plate with long "ears" and grotesque mask. Grade 3. Brl.7".

Lot No. 694 A 12 Bore double barrelled percussion sporting gun, Circa 1840 by Charles Golden of Bradford. The re-browned water/band twist barrels having broad concave rib engraved in script - CHARLES GOLDEN BRADFORD - (maker). The brake off having two gold lines, platinum plugs and nicely engraved with a tiger's head. Signed locks nicely engraved, together with the dolphin hammers and tang with scroll foliage and having spaniels within a landscape.
