The upper signed in gold -W.Morgan- and with two gold lines at the breech. The lower engraved -Reading-. Finely engraved locks with fire blued external main springs having links to the hammers. Engraved hammers (one spur broken) and sighted tangs. Walnut grip with gold escutcheon. Foliage engraved hallmarked silver triggerguard and butt cap with plain gold finial. In its original mahogany case lined in blue velvet. Accessories include a leather covered three-way flask (top detached) and ball mould. A Sleeper. Near Grade 2. Brl.2.5 ins.
