Lot No. 362 A GOOD 12 Bore Churchill Model XXV boxlock ejector shotgun. Serial No:7573. The barrells signed E.J. Churchill (gunmakers) Ltd Orange St Gunworks Leicester Square London. The signed action, floor plate and top lever engraved with best scroll foliage. Walnut stock with chequered straight hand wrist and anson forend. Grade 2 plus. Brl 25'. FAA Category: SG
Lot No. 417 A VERY RARE POSSIBLY UNIQUE Prototype 12 bore pump action Police Riot "Rogun" Shotgun. Serial No.RP12612. Round barrel with compensator and synthetic forend pump attached. Aluminium actio marked -Rogun LRW26-10 Patented-. The inside having standing breech and rotating dust cover. Synthetic butt stock and pistol grip with grip safety. Upon firing the forend is moved forward with barrel. The dust cover is rotated through 180 degrees to clear the loading elevator from the tube magazine at the same time the empty case is ejected from the standing breech. Grade 2. Brl.26 ins. It is believed that less than 20 of these guns were produced by Parker Hale for police trials, this being the only one not falling into the section five category. I have never encountered one before. One side engraved with RAF pilots scrambling to their spitfires for battle the other with Churhcills Dedication and Images of pilots and other RAF Crew. Brass crossguard in true form of an Eagle, hardwooed hilt and circluar pommel with the RAF symbol and motto-Battle of Britian Sept 1940-. NB: Thomas Barnett contracted a considerable quantity of arms for the Hudson Bay Company although not marked as such I would suggest this could easily be one of them.

Brown twist octagonal barrels cut with two groove rifling and with German silver dovetailed foresights. The top flats signed -Austin Butler Ledbury-. Each breech engraved with foliage, one gold, one silver line and platinum plugs. Signed back action locks engraved together with the dolphin hammers with scroll foliage. Adjustable set triggers. Figured walnut halfstocks having engraved spur triggerguard, silver butt cap inserts and forend caps. In their mahogany case. Accessories include A Fine three way powder flask (Much laquer). Signed flat bolted locks engraved together with the dolphin hammers with foliage etc. Walnut halfstocks having chequered saw-handle grips. The lock having bevel edge and unusual safety lug which is automatically released upon the forward movement of the cock from five fullcock position, faceted pan. The frizzen without bridle.
